Need help identifying this juice Glass
« on: February 24, 2013, 06:18:29 PM »
I have 4 of these juice glasses and I have been unable to identify them. Can anyone help? Thanks.

They are a heavy glass measuring approx. 4 1/4 tall by 2 1/2 diameter.
They have an iridescent appearance in the light and have multi colored flowers.

Hi and welcome the the board!

Your pic is way too small to see any details; usually you get a decent result if you make the longest dimension about 600 or 700 pixels (which should render the file size below the 125 kB board limit)

But from what I can see your glass could be Czechosklovakian, from Borske Sklo, designed by Max Kannegiesser.
Typically pieces from that "Nemo" range have enamelled, slightly iridescent dots >> Link, but I have seen different patterns before.

If you do a search for "Kannegiesser Nemo" you will see lots of different shapes and can compare the technique and colours to your piece.

Michael

Thank you Michael! Yes, I was having a hard time conforming to the Picture size and was afraid it would be too small. Thank you for the information, now I have a starting point.
