ID Help with Scandinavian Double Votive
« on: March 13, 2013, 05:25:13 PM »
I am assuming that the 2 indentations are meant as votive holders.  The textured protrusions remind me of 70's era Goran Warff designs for Kosta but I don't think this piece can be attributed to the Warff's.  Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Jeff

Muurla from Finland is a strong contender in my opinion :)

You just beat me to it!!  I think Muurla is a contender as well,  but although the base is very like theirs,  the 'volcanoes' are knobblier that the ones I have seen.....   on with the search!!

Thanks to you both!  After reading your replies I found a Muurla designed for 6 votives and the base appears identical.  I'll search further and greatly appreciate your lead.
