ID of Textured Glass Bowl/Ashtray Stylized M

I would appreciate any thoughts regarding the clear textured bowl/ashtray with what I assume is a stylized M or W. The piece is ~ 7 .25" X 1.5", has 6 evenly distributed curves which I thought might be used to rest a cigarette and is quite dense. First thought was a Scandinavian maker but....
