The glass of the Moretti family and some history on Murano
« on: April 08, 2013, 07:05:40 PM »
If anyone would like to read some history on Murano Glass and the Moretti family, you can check out this site:   http://morettiglas.20fr.com/index.html  Also, in the future, I will post some photos of, what I believe to be of museum quality, a glass shark by Roberto Moretti.  This antique piece is quite large (23 in. long X 9 in. wide X 7 in. high.  It's color is blue, with clear fins, red eyes and concentric compression bubbles.  This piece is one of two that I know of but the other one was pug ugly so I didn't buy it.
