Hi is this Vasart (harlequin?) or Monart please?
« on: April 21, 2013, 04:54:12 PM »
Hi I have found a glass vase that to me looks like Vasart or Monart glass, though to be honest, I'm not that sure :/
It is all finely mottled (if that's the right word to use?) which doesn't show well in the photos and the bottom section is faintly tinged pink encased in clear.
It is 8" tall.
I have tried looking at the base of this vase with the guide shown here http://www.ysartglass.com/BaseLabel/Bases.htm but I'm not 100% sure as it looks like a few of them  ???
There are also similar (decor and colour but not shape) vases on ebay listed as Vasart, but I'm not sure if they are accurate either?
Can anyone tell me what type of glass it is please?
Thanks  :)

I would say it is a Vasart piece, possibly shape V017 on Franks site. Certainly not Monart.
