Help. I have no idea on this one.
« on: May 09, 2013, 02:06:36 AM »
I picked this up while hunting for uranium glass at a second hand dealer. It is obviously not uranium glass and I doubt it is manganese glass. The item glows the same colour under UV light as it looks under normal light. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Good to see another Aussie on the board.  I live in Melbourne.

Photos of coloured glass are best taken against a plain white background.  Normally it is best to show (1) a general view, (2) A profile shot from the side, (3) a shot of the base - this often eliminates a range of potential makers, and finally (4) a shot showing the rim.

Try to reduce them to just below 125Kb each (that will be c.500x500 for very complex shapes or decorations, or 650x650 for very plain pieces.)
