Hi Roger

It looks like a Vasart to me...the canes really do not look like Perthshire IMHO...

Gooday Alan, you're about early today.  The vasart canes I can see and understand but the setup is super good compared to most vasart weights with "simple canes". Regards Roger

Roger, do you have permission to show the eBay image here? If not I will remove the pic and replace with this link to the completed auction:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Very-early-Perthshire-glass-paperweight-or-maybe-Vasart-/290903190305?pt=UK_Art_Glass&hash=item43bb2e6b21&nma=true&si=yMWi1oz5ssmqK0gpbeq2iOBBTrk%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557#ht_70wt_958

Also, the listing does state "Very early Perthshire ... or maybe Vasart".

                 Regards Roger.

Hi all, the new owner has examined the weight in the flesh and is certain about the Vasart attribution, so thats settled that one.
        Many thanks, Roger.
