Art Deco Sunrise 'Boat' Posy Bowl
« on: July 24, 2013, 06:23:35 PM »
Hi all, I have this piece I can not ID. It is 8.5cm High and 24cm wide. I have seen a similar Style one here http://pressglas-pavillon.de/schalen/01008.jpg
but not a match. It was a £2 charity shop find, I liked the 'Sunrise'  look similar to the Trinket set. The frog has a crack but otherwise in good nick for its age.
Pete. :-)

Hi Peter,
I am a newby to this site and to glass collecting so I won't be able to help you much sorry!  I also have a Art Deco posy bowl that I have been trying to I'd without success.  I have looked at bagley, sowerby, davidson and walther....I can't recall seeing one like yours but you could check them out (if you haven't already).
Good luck
Sally

Hi Sally, welcome to the GMB, I have been on this site a while and still feel like a newby with the depth of experience and knowledge on here. I did look through the sites including   http://www.pressglas-pavillon.de/index2.html.  (Very good site)  And quite a few more including image searches etc. but no match just the similar looking one on the link in my post. It might stay unidentified for a while but they have long memories on here lol.   Thanks Sally.
PS. This site and glass are addictive. :-)
Pete. :-)
