I know that this isn't genuine and I didn't pay a lot for it. I just wondered if anyone might know where it originated??

The story behind romanian Gallé production is that Elena, the wife of the communist dictator Nicolai Ceaușescu
adored Gallé vases. It was hence decided and ordered to build up a production of similar items.
