hi, and welcome to the gmb  :) (we've not met yet)
Is it cut or pressed and could we, pretty please, have a good clear shot of the base so we can see how it has been finished off?
Cheers, Sue M. (she/her)

Its not pressed looks like highly polished cut glass.  The bottom is clear an finished flat an pollished like the rest.  I also missed something it says Rena sandbasted on the bottom.  Also there is a insignia in front of Rena.  Thanks

An etched or sandblasted mark on the base can be brought up beautifully for photography by rubbing a tiny amount of talcum powder (or cornflour) over the mark with your thumb. The powder goes into the indent made.

It's amazing whe we can tell from a base that looks as if nothing much has been done to it, we really DO like looking at bottoms here.  ;)
Can you give it a go, please? We would like to see the mark and the writing.
Cheers, Sue M. (she/her)

Thanks!
I can only find an artist called Rena Holford, googling, and her work does not look anything like this. It does look fairly new. Where on the planet are you? Sometimes your location is a good place to begin a search.

Looks more like a Cyrillic script than Rena IMHO

Looks like a stencilled sand blasted or acid etched  URCHA or maybe + RCHA
but in lower case.

Chris
