My fourth contribution to the lost world of mysterious vases is this. It's 245mm high and quite heavy but not very heavy. The pontil (see pic) is quite smooth and well finished. I've seen a vase on the web a bit like it, which is new and made in Mexico, but that's all I've found. Any opinions most welcome.

Looks like modern recycled glass - probably also made in Mexico as the vase you found online.

Well yes, I wouldn't be surprised. It's a bit depressing really, although I didn't pay much for it (£8 I think). I don't really know why it's depressing - It's a nice, colourful vase. I am I think a glass snob and want everything to be something special!
