Smokey Grey Vase - Frank Thrower?

Hi, Can anyone help me identify this vase.  Height 15.9cm, Base dia. 7cm, Rim dia. 6.4cm, concave pontil Pontil dia. 4.5cm.   There is  a name to the base and what I believe to be a signature opposite, but unfortunately I am unable even in natural light or magnification  to read it.    The markings are impressed markings.  The signature doesn't even show up in the pictures taken, however, the other marking does.  I have included additional pictures to help with identification.   Any help appreciated.
