Topic: Label identification help

Partial label on this blue glass vase reads: T.W??? & Co , Exported by ?rodime? , ??A?? , Crystals Hand Made. The vase itself looks Murano to my untrained eye but no similar labels in the Gallery. Looked up "Prodimex" but it's a Russian agricultural company! Any advice appreciated, pics attached, thanks. Paul

I think the last word is 'GLASS' i.e. PRODIMEX GLASS
Please can we have a clear picture of the base, we always need a base photo

Could be Czech, Polish, Rumanian all seem to have links, a picture/description of the base would help. Do you think though the T.W & Co as in T.Webb & Co. for instance would maybe suggest British, American, Australian? would an Eastern European country use this type of wording on a label. Could the word below Prodimex be a country for example Poland Rumania etc.

Here's a pic of the base & top. Never thought of the W being for Webb - another avenue to pursue! Hard to say what letters are either side of the "A', I suspect it is from a country as I'd already tried a search on "Prodimex glass" with no joy.

Hi Paul, not suggesting for a moment it's  Webb apologies if my reply mislead you. Just an example of whether the & Co suggests a British maker and would many other countries use this format. The base then I take it is flat ground matte and not highly polished ?

So the last word might read POLAND i.e. a country as Chris suggested, rather than GLASS.

Thanks for your replies M, Chris and Anne; you've made my day! Never would have made the Poland connection. I've just started collecting a bit of glass so really appreciate the help and pointers on what pics & descriptions are useful. Still baffled by the T. W*** & co, it would make sense if they were the importer/distributor.

The letter after the W looks to have a slant, so perhaps an A?

If so, I would also guess that it's an Australian importer?
