meegs:
Hi Everyone,
Just for the record here are a couple of photos of a set of Pyrex Crown Crystal bowls I purchased which were made in New Zealand. The original price is in dollars so they were originally sold after July 1967. I'm unsure when the factory closed.

Lustrousstone:
Interesting, do they have the Pyrex logo too or was Crown Crystal being naughty?

meegs:
I don't recall any moulded logos; only the labels.
The bowls have gone flatting with one of our daughters so I'll check when I next can.

Cheers

Interesting!
I have inadvertently ended up collecting a load of Pyrex bowls in this particular cherry red colour. They're a good shape and nice and cheerful on the table. Sadly, they don't go in the dishwasher without ruining the enameled surfaces.

The rims are completely different shapes, though. The packaging does say that Australian moulds were used.

meegs:
Sue,
I also have collected a selection of pyrex because of their versatility and variety of shapes. I love the caserole dishes  :) The enamel on these ones is a corally pink/red with and over spray of gold, if I could have fitted them in the cupboards I would have kept them myself! I do fear that these will not be long for this world knowing how student flatters treat things.....
Cheers
