P Turner,  P Tina?   I've tried googling various words but to know avail.  It's rather strange that one should put the signature around the pontil area, don't you think?   There is the possibility that the signature could have been done by the owner rather than the maker.   I just can't read the signature, especially the last letters.  I don't know if this will be of any help, but can you take a picture of  the drinking glass  the right way up on a black background preferably in natural lighting?  Sorry I can't be of any further help,but good luck in your search.  :)

If you put the signature there it is not going to destroyed by wear and tear which will occur on the outer edges.

I don't recall  signatures around  pontil areas Ross, but now that you have mentioned that, it certainly does make sense.  :)
