This very large, seriously pink bowl has me TOTALLY stumped.  Utilitarian, hardly "art glass."  It is large, thick and heavy opaque glass.  "Slag" glass?  Unsigned, of course.  I think it has some age to it.  Any clues would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Charles

Charles, I vote for jelly mould, American, pre-WWII  :)

Huge jelly Pamela, more like a punch bowl. No good for mixing with all those indents.

Great.  Now I will need to change my diet!  In all seriousness, a mold is clearly what it was meant to be, but strangely I see nothing comparable on the internet.  Based on what it is, I suspect it has little value, despite its rarity.  I will need to find a kitchenware museum!

Thanks all,
Charles

I think you might have to revise this statement. Actually I'd disagree strongly that it has little value. I'd also disagree with the suggested origins given above...

In my opinion, this is likely to be Chinese, and probably late Qing to Republic period. I've never seen one this big before, but the colour, lobed form and scalloped rim are all seen in Peking glass. The base finish is typical too :)
