Odd canes in Whitefriars
« on: November 27, 2013, 03:37:50 PM »
Hi, just received this Whitefriars weight. It had looked interesting on-line and now close up confirms that there are unusual canes used in it. The view I have posted is from below. It not only uses "star" canes from the USA series Centennial Bell (often called a Liberty Bell), but has white "whorl" canes or more accurately white concentric circle canes. In between these are compound canes of light blue interior and dark blue exteriorcanes with a contrast cane at the centre. I can't recall having seen these or the white circle canes before.

Has anyone come across these elsewhere ?

Tony
