Is this Flavio Poli Murano?
« on: December 09, 2013, 12:57:25 AM »
Hi to you all!

I picked this up today at the local thrift and scouting around on the internet, I noticed a couple of others saying that they are by Flavio Poli but we all know that people sometimes attribute names when they are trying to sell them.  Sooooo is it Murano?  And should it have a stopper?  Mine is not ground inside the rim so I think not.

It is cut flat on its four sides, the bottom is completely flat, it is amethyst, red and clear sommerso, weighs 1.6K and is 12cm tall.

Many thanks.

Santa

Dear Mods

Would this be better off in the Italian section?  If you think so then please move it on over.

Cheers!

It looks like a quality maker, the bands of colour are so precise.
