Please Help identify a glass bowl
« on: December 10, 2013, 07:17:06 AM »
Hi Glass Enthusiasts,
Can you please help me identify a fancy glass bowl that belonged to my grandfather.
The artist has signed the bottom and I have attached some photos.
I think it reads - H.Col or H.G then MB then 113C
I'd also like to know the style of glass
I'd be grateful to learn about this
Kind regards Carolyn P

Hi and welcome to the board!

I am quite sure that the mark reads "HG" for Holmegaard, and "MB" for Michael Bang.

Best to have a look through http://hardernet.dk/, a great and very comprehensive site about Holmegaard / Kastrup glass.

Michael

Actually, I think it reads Hgd.  Holmegaard designed by Michael Bang.  And as Michael suggest Peter Harder's site will probably have it.
