Topic: Is this cut glass Tazza English or American ?

Hello can anyone confirm if this Tazza is English or American i'm thinking libby and co and a date of 1870 but i might be completely wrong, many thanks Chris.

I presume you've checked the base for marks,it can be really difficult to see them sometimes,

No it's not marked but there is a similar example in the book by Charles Hajdmach British glass 1800 to 1914 that's given a libby's and co makers name, this is probably one of the finest pieces of cut glass i have come across so far.

Chris  -  is it page 361 you're looking at?            The pin-wheel motif and notches were certainly features on much States brilliant period glass, but got an idea that they also appeared on material from other sources.
Perhaps someone from the other side of the pond will have the answer.

I was reading the book in waterstones earlier so i'm not sure of the page number, i could see the similarity straight away, i'm pretty sure santa is bringing me this book for christmas.
