Topic: Old request but cannot find original post so...

am re-posting- after going through my old postings just cannot locate. A  translucent rich honey glass encasing white opaque center- circular with an inward turned edge, possibly cigar/ashtray and a slightly domed center. A flat grainy base, showing the layers of glass. 5cm highest point and 14.5cm diameter.
So any body out there have any ideas as to maker?
Summer here in New Zealand but the weather is slightly bonkers-thunder/lightning and down south in Christchurch-HAIL!!

I would immediately classify this as Murano but as to who actually made it I am not expert enough to guess intelligently, so I won't.

Many thanks Ross- that will do for now-generic Murano, on to Trade Me it goes!! Weather is windy and cold with an underlying threat of humidity- as before, the weather here is Bonkers!!

With that roughly ground base I would think not Murano. Rather China or Romania...

Many thanks Michael for tracking it down- I have seen and owned some glass with rough bases- just ground out to make it flat, this base however appears to have been cut to even it out but then the finish is unlike anything I have come across before, almost as if it has an acid finish.
