Topic: Tiny lampwork skiing figure

This little fellow is only 1.5 inches high. Does anyone have a clue as to where he might have come from?

He might be tiny, but his funny little face is quite reminiscent of the fabby figurines made of different professions in Czechoslovakia... the name escapes me atm.

Ivo, I've had a look at Lauscha. No further forward really but I realise lampwork figures are usually almost impossible to pin down. On the PLUS side though, I have a litlle glass cocktail set including holder which I had wondered about and now I think it must be Lauscha. I'll start a new post for that.

The name I had lost is Jaroslav Brychta.

I've not seen any tiny Brychta figures, Nancy, but there is something about the way the face is so full of character - and the colours look right.

Well I found these

but I'm not sure if they're Brychta. The shapes look similar but they don't have much in the way of faces.

I don't think your figure is Czech.  Skiing figures were made by ZBS, but they look a bit different.  Take a look at this catalogue from Pamela's site: ZBS skiing figure
