Keith's bowl in this thread was the kind of bowl I was thinking of - in respect of the colour threading over colour and also that it has 18 in and outs (9 outs 9 ins) and that the rim is castellated.   It's also ribbed and appears to have a fairly large polished pontil mark.
David has said there is one in a similar colourway in Patricia's book id'd as Stevens and Williams.
