Gorgeous Gary.
Is the yellow really that "acidy" bright - or is it the more usual soft, buttery colour, altered by the camera?

It's a fabby colourway, and it shows really nicely on that shape.
(Although I might be tempted to display it upside down, so that the purples and yellows show up even more. I don't fret about putting glass upside down, if it looks better that way.)
Cheers, Sue M. (she/her)

I was merely curious, knowing that there are the two shades.
High up is good. You need to be at eye level, or slightly below that to see it at its best.  :)

 ;)
I take is we are not supposed to assume a "genteel" half pint mug beside it - it's a full pint mug and your vase is a MONSTER!

(Not the biggest bit of Monart I've seen - that is an apple-green lampbase, about 2 feet in circumference - so as tall as it is wide. But it is a bit dull and uninteresting, beyond its size. Your new piece is much, much prettier. I'd choose yours if I had to pick the one I would like to own. I could live with this bit - centre stage of my display.  :) )
