« on: January 17, 2014, 08:26:52 PM »
any help with I.D or any info is much appreciated , this piece was in a lot i purchased that was simply labled 'venetian glass' , it stands 14" tall and is split as you can see in the photos , there are no other identifying marks i can see anywhere.

My son had enough of me and decided to write in at 'Homes&Antiques' (the monthly magazine) last year, my vase is pink and blue throughout  and has less 'clear' glass, but the shape's exactly the same.
Like your vase, it is unsigned and was ID'd as Flygsfors, but i haven't seen this colour combination before....

I haven't seen that colour combination before either, Anne Tique, which is why I put ? after my comments.
I think we'd need somebody more knowledgable about Flygsfors to confirm.

I'll have another go at posting an image, still haven't got the 'hang' of it, but anyway, this is the vase ID'd as Flygsfors....stands at 17" tall....

Yours is unusual too, in not having any white in it. Thanks for persevering with posting the image.  :-*

Hopefully, there will be no stopping you now.
I've very much enjoyed your posts but not "spoken" with you directly before. Nice to finally do so!

many thanks folks, it looks like we have a winner with  Flygsfors  ;D , until i just looked ive never heard of the name before..... - so much for it being labeled as 'venetian glass' - the other 5 pieces in the lot probably come from elsewhere aswell....
