pressed celery vase with leaves decoration.

probably too much of a long shot for an id - but just thought I'd give it a go.

Stemmed C19 pressed celery vases are sometimes massive and quite decorative, although modern equivalents tend to be more utility looking.          I just thought this one was a bit more appealing, and it was really only pennies so will keep for a while and then it'll get passed on again.
I think the seeds are supposed to be acorns and holly buds, but not too sure about the accuracy of the leaves.
No marks that I can see  -  it's about 5.5" - 140 m/m tall, and four mould seams as can be seen on the foot.

So really just for show, but if anyone does know the maker please shout  -  thanks for looking. :)

Morning Angela - my sincere thanks, I really thought this was going to remain unknown  -  just shows I should have more faith in GMB members. :)
You're right about the leaves being different, and I'd assumed they looked more like holly leaves.            What sort of date might you put on this then??

I think the design is attractive - you're welcome to have this celery to go with your bowl if you would like -  just let me know off Board some time.

thanks again :)

thanks for that  -  must admit I wouldn't have put it that old, but just goes to show.              Though maybe the mould continued in use for a few years perhaps, as with much European pressed glass.              Thanks also to Janice for that info. in the first place. :)
