Hi, I'm new here, and hope that heads wiser than mine can help ID this cased vase. The height is approx 20cms, the glass is very thick (10mm at the rim), and hence weighs around 1kg.  The pontil mark is deeply ground & polished. Its most distinctive feature is the "cloudy" pastel-blue colour, which at first glance looks like water stains, but it's meant to look like this. There aren't any marks or ID on it. Can anyone help?. Many thanks, Larry.

Brilliant, John, many thanks. I've had it for years, and all this time I had a suspicion it was Scottish - I was miles off track. Thanks again, Larry.
