Freeform Murano ? No. 2
« on: February 21, 2014, 08:13:54 PM »
This is a large piece at 58cm wide. Blue in the foot up through amber/orange, red and clear. Polished base some age wear. Any idea if it is Murano ? Can these be pinned down to a maker ? the internet has the majority of these as Murano so some advice with this and the other two would be appreciated. (I do like these larger pieces but my OH has different ideas) Thanks
Pete. :-)

Very left field as I know almost nothing about them.  Have you had a look at Chalet Glass from Canada.  They seem to have sharp angular pieces like your two.

Thanks Ross, I have seen some Chalet, will take a look through them. Not sure if I mentioned that there are no marks on any of the 3 pieces.

Maybe Lorraine Glass is worth a look too, very similar to Chalet but did more orange glass.
