ID Signed Perfume Bottle
« on: March 08, 2014, 02:47:23 AM »
Small perfume bottle with a dimpled, frosted base. It is signed around the base of the bottle, not on the base and reads in part: Acacia at the Jam 9/89 then there is a signature (I am guessing). Jam probably is a reference to the Jam Factory here in Adelaide. Any help appreciated. Chris

Hi Chris,  I would first of all suggest it is more likely to be from the USA simply because of where it is signed.  Most Australian glass is signed on the base - one way or another.

Could you post pictures of all the written bits trying to avoid reflections.  The best way is to shoot from a shallow angle so the internal pattern is negated.(see an example below).  Also include a photo of the base as it sometimes helps to exclude possibilities and help us help you.
