Didn't know you were going to Malvern.

Very nice and I haven't seen this one before. The advertising ware seems to get good prices thee days. I have quite a few pieces of DG Ware now, so will have to set about photographing it when I have time.

There was a real gem at Fieldings last week.   See http://fieldingsauctions.co.uk/lot/105209

You have to admire the optimism in trying to sell gas to miners who paid nothing for their coal.

A nice example, Bernard. I acquired an unusual preserve pot recently, with Greek or Roman figures around the outer, but I also have several with advertising logos on the outside.

Love this stuff. It used to be so scarce, now popping up all over the place. I remember the first discussions about this here many years ago. Now seeing some wonderful pieces.

Might be an idea for a mod to group all the DG Ware topics under one heading. Doing a search for "DG Ware" (include quote marks) brings up 8 separate threads - the earliest being 2004. There are many different examples, and some I still have to photo and upload.

David, are you thinking that the separate topics could be merged? That would be complicated. When topics are merged, they are automatically set with all posts in date / time order. Unless all reply posts were made before the next topic was started, merging will cause confusion when trying to understand which posts refer to which others! Especially if they were merged with the post titles set to a standard wording.
