Topic: Fruiting vine engraved, hollow stem champagne coupe - ID please?

Hi, this glass has me stumped. It is hand-blown and wheel engraved with a meandering vine.  It has a hollow, six-sided vertically cut facet stem and a polished out pontil mark on the base.  From the clarity of the metal I suspect it is early 20th century.  Any ideas as to origin, maker, date?

Some thoughts.

The Silber & Fleming catalogue shows champagne saucers with a cut hollow stem and it is easy to find pictures of similar Edwardian glasses. You don't need me to point out that the foot is reminiscent of Georgian feet of the second half of the 18th century. The engraving is also appears to be somewhat old fashioned. My thought is that it is a late Victorian/Edwardian glass that has been made under the influence of the Sheraton Revival which was in vogue in the last years of the 19th century.

If I'm not mistaken (you have to be SO careful these days) this is Villeroy & Boch of Wadgassen - in any case German around 1900.
