In my eyes, that is their very best decor, the best colours, and the best shape  :)

I've had two in that decor, one I sold, then immediately regretted it and bought another  as soon as I could find one (which took a long while).
Then a friend bought that one for a wedding present  ;D
So I am currently without  ::)

very nice, but not my favourite, which is the more petrol-y teal colour, in clear glass, and I like the really enormous big round barrelshape the bestest.

Lovely to see a VASE come under the heading of Strathearn,  ;D ;D ;D ;D
rather than yet a.n. other thing for holding bits of paper down...


There are not nearly enough pieces of Strathearn Glass shown here on the gmb, it is fabulous stuff. 8)

Gorgeous! Love the colours.
My only pieces of Strathearn is my fruitbowl, which is the thing that got me started on glass!
I also have some orange Vasart (one pictured) and some Monart!

The problem is just were to put it all!

 ;D ;D, where to put it all is a big problem at the moment, 13 shelf units, 3 display cases and numerous surfaces all full of glass (plus other stuff!) ::) ::) ;D ;D

 ;)You mean to say you haven't yet discovered inside window frames or the tops of loo cisterns and kitchen cupboards, the little corners you find on stairways where feet never go...
Flat screen tvs are a waste of space - at least the old ones had a top you could put things on! >:(

I have a four year old boy!  He loves glass but some I just don't want him playing with. I bought him his own "melrose??" little bowl (one of those coloured ones with a white stripe) which he carries round saying "I'm allowed to to touch this one!"

Has any one any tips on battery powered lights to put in glass cabinets?

Ok,, I knew it was something like that but couldn't be bothered mid - post to go and check! Consider my wrists slapped  ;D you knew what I meant.

Trying to train him to spot bits of Monart, if only!!

He comes home from nursery and says " oh look, mummy's got another glass ornament". He was very excited about finding out the vase was  Adams.
