Polka dot Stuart ?champagne glass help please
« on: April 08, 2014, 07:40:34 PM »
Hello there another glass i'm struggling with, i'm wondering if it's a piece of deco 1920's Stuart crystal and if it is indeed a champagne glass, it's lead crystal with no pontil mark, regards chris.

It's 4 1/2 inches in height, 3 3/4 inches across the rim and 2 3/4 inches across the base.

I have always assumed these are Czech and Deco period, sometimes they crop up with matching decanters. Cocktail glass I guess.

There are similar glasses in Broadfield House with a Stuart provenance, i'll take it up there and ask them for what good it will do. I'll take a pick of the exhibit if it's still there.
