Bohemian - Silesian - any more precise ID?
« on: May 17, 2014, 02:30:19 PM »
My books on Bohemian weights are packed away.  Can you assist in an ID on this paperweight.  The glass is greyish with many bubbles, but the colors are bright and there are some nice complex millefiori.  Red and white rose canes in the center of the red canes.  The design is off center.  Just under 2" diameter by 1 1/3" tall.

Thanks.

Hi Allan

I would attribute it to Thuringia  - maybe one of the Lauscha factories - in the late 19th century.
