Toso or Salviati Jug ?
« on: May 26, 2006, 12:11:24 PM »
Hi,

I bought this jug at auction yesterday, and I wonder if it is by either Toso or maybe an earlier piece by Salviati?

The canes are all white, the base has a snapped pontil mark, and the feet are clear like the little handle.

Its a very pretty jug and is good quality glass, and the canes look Murano-ish.
