Small Vase, broken pontil, Maltese?? ID help please
« on: July 27, 2014, 11:07:04 AM »
Hi All,

I bought this wee vase yesterday for a couple of pounds and wondered if anyone could confirm my Maltese suspicions. It stands 4.5" tall, brown/yellow colouring with some iridescence, the pontil is simply broken, still sharp, and the base around it is polished slightly ( but not polished shiny if you know what i mean) Early Mtarfa maybe?
Thanks in advance.

cheers, David
