Medium Sized Crystal Decanter
« on: July 27, 2014, 06:23:35 PM »
I have been having a clear out and came across a few pieces I had not Identified yet. This Decanter is very nicely cut with double Vertical and Horizontals. It is a little smaller than the average size at 23cm in height and a circumference of 31cm. It has some age wear to the base but no markings. Any ideas ?
Pete. :-)

nope  ......                 un-attributable second half C20 decanters exist in their thousands - so in the absence of a backstamp etc., almost impossible to run down a maker.

about the only thing you might say is that it is of better quality if it has matching nos. than otherwise   -   just fill it with a single malt, and use it  -  alternatively give it to someone else in the family as a present, and say it's an antique that cost an arm and a leg  -  hopefully they'll never know the truth. ;)

I have my eye on this for myself. I will hang on to it for now. I have seen this somewhere and might just come across it again which is usually the way to find what your not looking for :-). Thanks Paul.
