Fritz Heckert Vase
« on: July 28, 2014, 04:12:39 AM »
I just purchased my first piece of Kralik glass (or so I thought) and thought I'd share it with you. It was listed as Loetz, but the other day while looking at Kralik.com, I found this exact vase Listed under Kralik Silberband. I provided the link to the seller who agreed to sell it to me at a significant discount. From what I'm told this not Kralik but is actually Fritz Heckert.  Outside of that, I know very little about the vase, so any information you can provide would be appreciated.

Lovely bit of glass you have there, looks spot on for Heckert, Silberband. A little info in this thread: http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,49014.msg278710.html#msg278710

Here is another in red.

The kralik website -if you look carefully - does point out they are now known to be Fritz Heckert - designed by the great Otto Thamm. As discovered by Stephania Zelasko

Wonderful pieces

Thanks for the info John.  Since purchasing mine, I've fallen in love with the red Silberband and am dying to own one. Yours is a beauty!
