Ravenshead??
« on: August 03, 2014, 07:29:40 PM »
Acquired these rather nice chunky glasses recently and was informed that they are Ravenshead.  Have had a good look round the net to trace the pattern name but can find absolutely nothing.  Can anyone confirm please

There is even the tudor rose on the base and the texture is perfectly correct.

It's not a bad colour though, these must be the good stuff, whichever that was.  ;D

(we were cross-posting, dinklepip.  :) )

I did post on here some time ago a vase with a similar mark and it was confirmed to be Rockware

The textured pattern matches.

I hadn't noticed the rose on the base.  :-X

Looks like Bagley Wild Oak.

The rose looks as if it has been modified to go with the base of the glass, it's smaller than the rose on my yellow (Rockware?) handkie vase.

So your glasses, being a lovely, icy clear colour, probably are Bagley.

The pattern on the body is exactly the same, although it covers the whole body in my vase, it doesn't have the half-way up effect there is on your glasses - which is very nice. :)
