I think it was the ring on this piece that sold it to me - made me think of the rich long W/F's tone - but nothing in Jackson like it, so virtually certain it's not from them - and no marks that I can see.

Diameter about 8", and 4.5" in height, with quality ground/polished pontil depression, and some wear on the foot but not masses.            Probably a little more barley-sugar in colour than the pix show.

Could be T/Webb, but quite likely a non-starter and really no idea - but if anyone wants to share an idea. :)

Interesting, not seen that odd moulding pattern around the pontil mark before, does look Webb/ WF's ish, the diagonal swirl is very nice, ;D

thanks Keith  -  Am sure I had a vase year or so back when I knew lot less than I know now, that had similar looks/feel, but didn't keep a picture, so now not sure.   Has such a wonderful ring - pity can't convey that in a picture :)
