Monike Heller-Cole transfer on slumped plate.
« on: September 09, 2014, 01:44:09 PM »
This artist is German, but since I don't know where this was made, I've shoved in 'Glass' temporarily  -  of course it can be moved to Germany if it's know to have been made there. :)

An artist of much repute, apparently, with heavy emphasis on images of animals (dogs and cats it seems mostly) - although in my brief trawl of the web I didn't see anything on slumped glass, like this.     Don't know if this is a particular kind of moggy  -  felines aren't my favourite creatures  -  they kill too many small birds, and leave their business in my garden without asking permission. ;)

The lady's name is incorporated into the artwork, otherwise I would never have known, but credit where it's due, she is a very good artist.       Is it unusual to see her work on glass??
