This came with a load of Iittala and Holmegaard - it's the right colour - fine polished base - any ideas

Looks like a Bjorkshult Carafe. Distributed by Wuidart & Co, designed in 1954 and produced 55-57. If correct should measure either 6 or 7.5 inch. Originally retailed with seven tumblers. Reference, page 227 Andy Mc Connell's 20th Century Glass.

It is 6 inches high - googled your suggestion, scans - by Ronald Stennett Willson in 1954 and produced from 1955-1957 by Bjorkshult.
