Signature help - vase identification.

The signature on the side of this vase has intrigued me ... no defeated me for years!

I'm in Sydney, Australia and I don't think it is local.

It is 13.5 cm (5.3") across and 11.5 cm (4.5") high.

Aventurine, cased, weighty and has a ground pontil.

It weighs: 888 grams (2lbs!)

I'm hoping someone might recognise the signature for me!
