No-one likes general adverts, and ours hadn't been updated for ages, so we're having a clear-out and a change round to make the new ones useful to you. These new adverts bring in a small amount to help pay for the board and keep it free for you to use, so please do use them whenever you can, Let our links help you find great books on glass or a new piece for your collection. Thank you for supporting the Board.

Oliver you need to post different items separately as I'm pretty sure your second piece is Murano by Carlo Tosi

Hi - sorry - ok - I get it now  :) none of our glass is being sold - will have to remain in the dark about what's better than what  :-\ I guess

Everything's gone back into storage apart from the baccarat

Thanks anyway

Oliver :-)

Oliver, we are more than happy to help ID your glass, whether you are selling it or not. This is a research board, so we ask for images to be uploaded to the board so they remain here as a permanent reference. We have topics with links to images hosted on services such as dropbox, tinypic, photobucket, etc...  which have since been deleted, which then reduces the value of the topic they were posted in, and sometimes makes the topic completely useless.

The rules we apply are to help make the board run smoothly, the small number of moderators (me included) are volunteers who give up their free time to help out, so we have tried to create a system which makes it easy for mods to keep on top of the workload on this very busy board. That's why you've been asked to post your items in a certain way, and for no other reason.

Please do continue to ask about your glass, bearing in mind the points above, and we'll be able to help you much better, thanks!

Cheers! Anne, da tekniqual wizzerd
