Frosted Nude Crystal Figurine Identification
« on: October 31, 2014, 05:09:38 PM »
Hello,
New here. I am looking to identify a frosted glass nude sculpture. I have attached a photo. The sculpture of a female figure measures 8"H. She is mounted into a "chipped crystal" base. The base has a marking an F inside a G or O. The word Cristal is there as well.

Any ideas on dating? Country of origin? Glass marking indentification?

Thank you.

Hello,
I contacted Gobo Frabel. I sent them an image of the figurine I had. They responded with this, "This is not a FRABEL!!!" Yikes. I guess I insulted them with my query.
Any other ideas would be gratefully welcomed.

Thank you.

I can't help, but do sympathise with the fear that you've insulted them with your query. I've done similar myself, and it was with absolutely no insult intended, it was my following a vague lead.

They shouldn't be so flipping precious! ;)
