Murano/Chinese? sculptural piece

Any ideas on this piece please. 10 inches tall and 1.2 kg. A little wear to underside but otherwise very clean looking.

Chalet Glass and Altaglass (Canada) could also be possibilities too.

I can certainly see similarities with the Chalet glass, most pieces seem to have been signed, was this usual?  Would much Chalet have made its way to UK?
