Antique Sulfide Manufacturer ID?
« on: December 07, 2014, 03:19:02 PM »
Recent acquisition by auction of antique sulfide. The theme is "Presentation of baby Jesus at the Temple"

The actual sulfide itself is marked "C. Brown" and I imagine this is the sculptor of the sulfide, but does anyone have any idea as to whom the actual ENTIRE sulfide can be attributed to and dates approx of manufacture?

Size is 2 3/4"wide x 1/5"deep.

There are no markings on the obverse {back} of the medallion.
