Glass.. drinking glasses I have in-service.  Suspect 1950's - 1960's.   by who?
I picked these up cheap for every day use. I'd like more.

They are thin, not your heavy tempered glass you would give to a reckless child or drunkard.
I'm nether of those and 'need' pretty glass in my home environment.
Why not use it with care?

Each of these glasses in unique, in pattern and clear case... all bases differ as does weight of each piece.
I suspect not machine made like my everyday use tempered glass dinner service that have unique colour swirl in clear ground.

The glasses have a thin milk white internal ground with multi colour random swirl [red. yellow, brown, green, blue], finished with clear case outer.
They have uniform outer shape but internal shape varies, as does the note each produces when rung.  :)
Height of all is consistent, rim is obviously ground and flame polished.

I suspect these are hand formed and then blown into mould to get outer shape consistence.

I've seen a Vase and I think a Jug of same design listed on Aust. eBay last year, but these days I don't have the time to troll through thousands of poorly defined items using a basal search term such as 'drinking glasses'. I regret not acting on that 'vase' because it could serve as a glass for some types of people.  ;)

So, it would be a lot easier to find more of these if I had specific manufacturer to go on.
Any ideas who made these drinking glasses and if so what other product did they make using the same design?

So it goes.

Tricky this. The technique has been used in Empoli in the 1970s - but has been widely copied by Chinese makers in the last 15 years or so. So unless you find a stickered empoli colour match jug or vase, the answer will remain unsure.

Thank you again folks.
Hope to see more of it in charity shops here.... maybe some sellers will know and list with correct name..... more likely not.

Anyhow, they were cheap yet look interesting, likely to be cheap to replace or find more.

So it goes.
