Hello,

I believe it's German, try to search with Schmid lampenglas. I've come across this signature before but never managed to find out what the FJO stands for.... I was surprized how light in weight and thin the glass was...

Almost certainly Glasbläserei Schmid (http://www.glas-schmid.de/gl/). There is quite a lot of his work on eBay. Here is one for example: http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Vase-Karl-Schmid-Lindberg-Zwiesel-1985-/390926583126 with a good picture of the signature, which is almost the same as yours.
