Another step forward! I picked up two of these today, a small blue one with MADE IN ENGLAND in the base, and a large clear one with three marks on the base: MADE IN ENGLAND REGENT PRODUCTS and a DS monogram inside a rectangle. Sadly I've not managed to get a photo of the monogram or the REGENT PRODUCTS bits as they are very feint, and I have to angle the light to be able to make it out at all. I'll try again in daylight!
Meanwhile, I've managed a reasonable copy of the monogram as a digital image...
